The catalogue for Andy Warhol's famous exhibition at Moderna Museet in 1968 consisted of four parts: documentation of Warhol's artwork, two series of images from Warhol's studio The Factory and a small selection of quotes and aphorisms by Warhol. Olle Granath was responsible for the quotes, among other things, and he remembers a telephone call from Pontus Hultén: "- I'm missing a quote . - Which one? I wondered, - In the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes , replied Pontus. If I had seen it in this material, I would have noted it, I replied. There was silence on the other end of the telephone line, then Pontus said: - If he hasn't said it, he very well could have, we'll include it. And so it was, and perhaps the most famous Warhol quote was a fact."
The poster is a reproduction of the original poster.
