Poster, Niki de Saint Phalle, Max is a bird

In 1975, the graphic folder "Bonjour Max Ernst" was published by Georges Visat in Paris with color lithographs by, among others, Niki de Saint Phalle. The artists Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning lived in Sedona, Arizona, for some time between 1943 and 1957, and the lithographs originate from a pilgrimage to Sedona that Niki de Saint Phalle made in the early 1970s.

The poster is a reproduction of a lithograph from 1975 in the Modern Museum's collection.
