With his own car and the camera in top condition, CG Rosenberg traveled around Sweden and captured the changing Swedish landscape. Newly built power plants are confronted with landowners on horseback in the sweeping landscape views. Small idyllic communities appear among the hills, and Bulltofta outside Malmö receives German propeller planes adorned with Nazi crosses. People are constantly present without always being in the picture - it is a cultivated country in transformation that is depicted in refined shades. The grayscale feels as rich as any color picture. Rosenberg photographed for the Swedish Tourist Association (STF) for documentary purposes, but always with high artistic ambitions.
