Moderna Museet: The Collection

Moderna Museet: The Collection is the book that presents 125 works of art in a concentrated form, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. For the photographic image, the history stretches all the way back to the 1840s, the first years of photography. Of the many thousands of artists who make up Moderna Museet's collection, the 125 are of course a selection among other possible ones. A collection is not static either; over time, more works are added, and an afterword describes the strategic directions for how the collection grows. We hope that reading the book will inspire many visits to Moderna Museet!
