Mike Kelley: Ghost and Spirit is the first major exhibition in the Nordic region about the groundbreaking artist Mike Kelley (1954-2012). As one of the heirs of pop art in the late 20th century, he dissected 1980s and 1990s American culture in groundbreaking works that expose, question and provoke. Mike Kelley's path into art went via anarchist political movements and experimental music scenes - he was one of the founders of the Detroit-based post-punk band Destroy All Monsters and a recurring collaborator with the noise rock band Sonic Youth.
