Poster created by Swedish illustrator Olle Eksell.

Olle Eksell was born in 1918 in Ål, Kopparberg County. At the age of 14, Olle decided to become an advertising cartoonist. During the war years, he trained as a cartoonist and graphic designer for Professor Hugo Steiner-Prag in Stockholm from 1939 to 1941. Olle Eksell was a creator who was ahead of his time, as when he created Sweden's first design program with the famous eyes for Mazetti.

Olle Eksell's career is unparalleled in Swedish advertising history. His illustrations oscillate between the crazy, imaginatively direct and the geometrically abstract. Olle Eksell was the art pioneer who loved his profession and could never stop creating. He was active until his death in 2007.
