Mobile: Kisses, Vogue

Kisses – Vogue’ is designed by Christian Flensted's granddaughter, Christine Kit Flensted, in cooperation with her partner, Mikael Hauberg. The mobile is made in birch veneer and brass-coloured rods, and like all designs in Flensted Mobiles, it is handmade in Denmark. First, the veneer is cut out on the old Flensted Heidelberg machine in Frederiksminde (The mobile Centre and Christine’s childhood home), after which it is coloured. Finally, the Kisses are brought out to the Flensted homeworkers, who assemble each mobile by hand. 

The family-run company Flensted Mobiles has designed and assembled mobiles by hand since 1954. We carry a small and handpicked selection of Flensted's vast range of mobiles, where several of their earliest designs are still in production. Each mobile is as good as ready to hang, requiring minimal additional assembly, beautifully packed in a sleek box.
