Evert Lundquist (1904-94) is a central figure in modern Swedish art history, both as an artist and teacher. He made his debut in 1934 and worked intensively with his painting throughout his life. Richly illustrated catalogue, with a foreword by Lars Nittve and texts by Fredrik Liew, Katarina Wadstein MacLeod, Jeremy Lewison, Sigrid Sandström, Andreas Eriksson, Torsten Andersson, Per Kirkeby and Georg Baselitz.
