Goldstein's art is rooted in both Western contexts and pre-modern traditions that he came to know on his travels. The works are the result of reconstructed memories.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Through his personal way of exploring a larger world, Goldstein places contemporary art in a broader perspective and opens up a more inclusive and global view of ourselves and the world around us.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe exhibition's title refers to the warm winds from the Sahara that guided Goldstein on his travels. Jericho, one of the world's oldest cities, is located in the West Bank, east of Jerusalem. The site could be seen from Goldstein's studio window and represented, for him, an unknown world.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The catalogue published in conjunction with the exhibition focuses on the extensive work \"From My Archive\", which is being premiered in a new version in the exhibition.
